Feeling the Strain: the battle for care that's pulling families apart
The Marie-Calire article makes the point that there are those who believe that mainstreaming children in school is the only option but saying that leaves no room for choice in schooling. Mainstreaming is great for children who can tolerate the helter skelter world that is mainstreaming, there are others who need gentle introduction and gradual exposure and expansion into a very stimulating world because their physiology is such that they get overloaded and cannot cope.
